Lew Ottavi, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2025. He was 75. Lew is survived by his wife Marty, brother Ray, children Shannon McCarty and Greg Middleton, stepdaughters Lisa Ingold (Greg) and Amy Lehm, grandsons Shayne, Aaron, Keefe and Max (who affectionately called him “Papa Lew”), and his best doggy girls: Lucy Lou and Daisy Mae.
Lew was pre-deceased by his parents Lew Sr. and Dottie. He was an Air Force Veteran and he was the owner of East Coast Remodeling. He loved classic rock music and played bass guitar in a rock and roll band in the 60s. He was the first to get expelled from his high school for having long hair. He will be remembered for his sense of humor.
Lew enjoyed fishing and he was an avid golfer. Golf was Lew’s greatest joy and he golfed every week. He will be missed by family and friends, who imagine him playing 18 holes and winning, perhaps hitting his third hole in one in the beyond. Rest in peace Louie Louie.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations for Lew may be offered to an animal charity of choice. Please offer your fondest condolences to the family on the Cremation Society of Virginia website.
