Linda Joyce Reynolds Williams was called home by her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday January 17, 2024.
Linda was born on November 27, 1943, in Norfolk, VA. She worked for Ford Motor Co. As a computer keypunch operator and retired in 2000.
She was predeceased by her husband, Johnny Williams and by her father, Emmett Reynolds, mother, Minnie Reynolds, sister Norma Crain and spouse Leslie Crain. Sister-in-law, Linda Reynolds, and lifelong friend, Penny Canant. Left to cherish her memory are brothers Emmett Reynolds and Charles Reynolds. Son, Todd Williams, and spouse Lynne Williams. Daughter, Staci Goree. Grandchildren, Randi Tipton, Ian Gardner and spouse Kellie Gardner, Roxana Luppens and spouse Parker Luppens and Kaylyn Williams. Great grandchildren, Bristol Turner, Theodore Gardner, and Salem Luppens, and her best friend Ann Lee and many other family and lifelong friends.
Linda was compassionate, loving, and generous to a fault. She took every opportunity to tell anyone and everyone the good news of Jesus Christ and the promise of eternal life. She was witty and smart, strong, and outspoken, beautiful inside and out, a force of nature, a child of God, and she was our mama.
At this time, services will not be held. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to be made to the Humane Society. We know our mother’s death is not a goodbye, and we take comfort in knowing the circle will be unbroken. In God’s timetable, we will reunite and join her in heaven. Until then, we will mourn her passing and keep her close to our hearts. We love you Mama.
