Linda Marie Kavalek, 74, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away peacefully in Chesapeake on October 31, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born on November 24, 1949 In New York and was the oldest child of John and Carmela Borsellino.

In addition to her parents, Linda was also predeceased by her sister, Donna Borsellino.

Left to cherish her memory are her son Wayne C. Kavalek and his wife Lili; her daughter Lindsey Scobie and husband Jason; her son Matthew Kavalek and wife Sarah; her grandchildren, Austin, Julianna, Grady Scobie and Ashton Kavalek; her sister, Elaine Freshnock and husband Duane; her brother, John Borselliono and wife Rose; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, many life-long friends and her work family at East Coast Leisure.

Her proudest achievement was undoubtedly raising her children and spoiling her grandchildren. Linda’s legacy is one of family, love, and unmeasured generosity, and she will be deeply missed by those fortunate enough to be a part of her life.

In lieu of flowers, Linda would ask that she be remembered through a contribution to Hope for life animal shelter or to American cancer Society.
