Linda Parron Rice, 75, passed away on January 3, 2024. She was born March 30, 1948 to the late James H. Parron Jr. and Yetta Parron. Linda was a 1966 graduate of Maury High School and later attended Liberty University where she received her Bachelors in Business Management. She was also a dual citizen having citizenship in the U.S. and New Zealand. Linda worked for the U.S. Department of Defense for the bulk of her career, retiring as a GS-12.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kira Kofsky; and husband Lloyd Rice III. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Adrienne and Rosalie Kofsky; son-in-law Jeff Schumpert; grandchildren Warren and Phoebe; siblings, Elizabeth Jones, James H. Parron III, Nancy Vastano and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
