I am Sue McGovern's sister and was fortunate enough to experience the wonderful friendship that she and Linda shared over the years. I remember Linda as a kind and thoughtful person who had a fun-loving, mischief-making side! In all the years I knew her, Linda never failed to send me a birthday card that miraculously arrived right on the day. When the three of us were together, our crazy antics would have been great material for any television sitcom! My heart hurts that she has left us, but my mind assures me that her sweet presence will always be with us.

I am so sad to learn of Linda's passing. There are no adequate words to describe my sorrow. Linda was my dear friend for over 33 years. As co-workers and friends we shared so many precious memories, life's difficult times and long "catch up" phone calls, reminising, laughing, crying and "just checking on you" calls. We always kept in touch throughout the years. Linda was a kind, giving, tenacious, thoughtful person with a passionate zest for life. I loved her dearly, she will be deeply missed and will always be in my heart. I feel blessed to have been a part of her life! Thanks for the memories kid! To take an excerpt from my favorite condolence: God saw she was getting tired and relief was not to be, So he put His arms around her and whispered "Come with Me" With tearful eyes we watched her suffer and slowly fade away. Although we loved her dearly, we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands were put to rest. God broke our heart to prove to us, He only takes the best. In my heart I know she is cradled with Gods love and is at peace now.

I am so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. She was a very sweet lady with so much energy and passion for life.
