She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Woodruff-Johnson, sister, Betty Lee Woodruff and survived by two daughters, Cheryl Elizabeth Syles and Krista Marie Mann; two grandchildren, Joshuah Barrette and T’Nea Tierra Mann; four great-grandchildren, Micah Jaylen Mann, Nehemiah Shamir Green, Isaiah Ashden and Daisy Ann Marie Mann; three sisters, Brenda Kaye Wynn, Barbara Jean Winston and Joyce Elizabeth Woodruff; six brothers, William Henry, Ronald Lafleur, Wayne Sanders, Louis Foster, Calvin Byciener and Micheal Sherwood Woodruff. She will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Congregation Zion’s Sake, 1233 Shield Road, Newport News, VA 23608.
A private ceremony will be held for family and intimate friends at a later date.
