She was born April 25, 1957 in Gloversville, N.Y. and lived the majority of her adult life in Newport News. She was a loving devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was loved and respected by many.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Catherine Dunkel and Fletcher Cato.
Left to cherish her precious memory is her sister, Toni Robinson; ex-husband, Tellis Truett; son, Richard Cato; daughters, Tacara Truett, Talisa Truett-Oliver, Kourtni Truett, Sabrina Copeland and Arianna Simpkins; grandchildren, Julian Cato, Taraya Batiste-Truett, Israel Batiste-Truett, Ava Copeland and Amia Oliver.
Cremation Society of Virginia assisted the family with their arrangements.
