Lisa Stall Harrison, also known as “Grandma Sunshine”, stepped into the arms of Jesus on April 30, 2024, in Virginia Beach, VA, surrounded by her family and friends. Lisa was born on June 22, 1959, in Newport News, VA to her parents Judyth Stall Timm and Nelson Byrd Stall.
Lisa graduated from Kempsville High School in 1977. She worked in the stocks and bonds industry for many years, prior to attending and graduating from Cayce Reilly School of massage therapy in 2001. Lisa Owned and operated a successful massage therapy business for 21 years, where she made a profound difference in so many lives. Lisa was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, friend, and neighbor. Lisa was truly a remarkable woman; she lived every day of her life in gratitude and celebration. Lisa shared an amazing relationship with God and had a deep and mature faith.
Lisa is predeceased by her father; her former husband, and father of her child, Steven Earl Harrison; and by her grandson, Derek Layne Cumberledge. Left to cherish her memory are her mother; her daughter, Lauren Cumberledge (Stephen); her granddaughter, Ruby Cumberledge; her sisters, Jann Widmayer (Don) and Sharon Tyng (Edward); her fiancé, Timothy Gregory; her nieces, Lisa Schiller (Micah), and Heather Gordon (Avi); her nephew, Matthew Snellings; 6 great nieces and nephews; and an abundance of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18th, at 11:30 am at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 2208 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456.
