Liza Renee Corson, 61, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 in her home in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  Liza was born on December 15, 1961, in Prince George County, Virginia.  A devoted wife to Derek, loving mother of Tracy Lee, Eric Tyler (Jean) and Jonathan Bernard, and survived by her sister Leslie and three loving grandchildren, Kayden, Luxe and Annika.

Liza’s children and family were her everything.  In her spare time, she loved the outdoors and participating in support groups, where she was a NAMI Facilitator and went on to become a certified Peer-Support Specialist.  Liza was committed to self-improvement and will always be remembered for striving to be the best mother she could be.   

Her abundance of unconditional love, support and friendship will be dearly missed; but, never forgotten.  

A Celebration of Liza’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Lynnhaven Colony United Church of Christ 2217 W. Great Neck Rd Virginia Beach, VA 23451.
