Dear Grandma, I know that you are not in pain anymore, but we will all miss you here. I feel so blessed to have many memories of you. As a child, you let me dress up in ALL of your jewelry and you high heels. You helped me put on make-up and you always told me that Landon babies are the prettiest! You took me shopping and had me over to spend the night with you, and I loved every moment. As a teenager you were always in my corner when my parents were far too strict. And on my 18th birthday, you gave me a beautiful Blue Topaz ring... my birthstone. I know that you saved and scrimped to save the money for that ring, and it will always be the most valuable ring I have. As I married and had children, you were delighted to watch them grow, and so proud that you were a Great Grandmother. The past few years have been hard on you, and I am so sorry that you suffered any pain at all. Through it all though, you maintained your quick sense of humor and kept that sparkle in your eyes... I love you

Oh Momma, what will I do without you? I have the greatest memories of the last few years to hold dear forever. It took a long time for me to finally connect, but that was my problem, not yours. I finally let go and let you love me and I you. And oh, how I love you. I will miss you so very much. I feel happy though that you have our little Angel Morgan on you lap to totally love and hug up to when you think of us who are left here on earth, we who love you most dearly. Your loving daughter, Betty Anne

Dear Grandma, I loved all the life talks we shared over the years. I loved hearing and learning about your life. I remember you always had a pennies for us and a candy dish when I was little. I remember you letting me play dress up. I remember how you would sit cross legged in your chair. I remember thinking how flexible you were. You taught me how to draw a rose and shared the gift of a lifetime love of reading with me. You always made me feel special, loved and wanted. It came in many forms and always when I really needed it. I will sure miss you. I know that I will see you again and this is not the end. Families are Forever, I look forward to seeing you whole and perfect someday. I love you! Your granddaughter, Jody Landon Watson
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Grandmother Landon, you were my cousinâs grandmother but, you always had a hug and a kiss for me whenever I saw you. I will always treasure your tender love and kindness towards me like one of your own. Both you and Aunt Betty Ann showed me that family grows beyond the family branch and deeper than just flesh and blood. I am thankful that you are now with our beloved Morgan and we all shall miss you!

Dear Mrs. Landon, For over 50 years, it has always been an inspiration for me to know you. From our early days in Williamsburg 1950s after your husbandâs tragic death by drowning, you were always gracious to all who visited you and your family. I was lucky for that then, as Jody your son Joseph Conway was my early best friend. Decades later 1970s-1980s, as my nieces and nephews and their cousins grew up, you remained as a favorite among the young. Over the past two decades 1990-2010 you touched the lives of another generation, this time including as many as eight of your own great-grandchildren. It was always a good time when you were there. As you leave this earth, there are so many of us that will never forget how you have for so long enriched our lives. Love, Mac Sisson

Dear Grandma - I am so sorry to see you go and will truly miss you. I am so glad that you and my mother were able to reconnect and spend so many good years together. She has taken such good care of you! I will miss your quick wit. You always said the darndest things. I love the story about how you cut paper coins out of the newspaper and, when my mother asked you what they were for, you told her that you liked to place them on the floor and watch the old people try to pick them up. You are quite the character. I will always remember playing with your jewelry as a child. I especially loved the "black perfume ring" with the stone that opened and had a pad with perfume in it. You love to read and I know it must have been very sad when your eyesight declined in your later years. Now you and Morgan will get to read lots of books together. You and Morgan take care of each other. Miss and love you, Landon Anne
