Louise Huff Fuller of Williamsburg, Virginia, died peacefully surrounded by her family on November 11, 2023. She was 85 years old.
Louise was born March 14, 1938, in White Post, Clarke County, Virginia. She spent most of her adult life in Berryville, Virginia, before moving to Williamsburg in 1992. She loved spending time with her family, and her stories, quick wit, and laughter will be missed. She also loved her thoroughbred horses, and for years spent hours every day caring for them and fussing over them. One of her most impressive achievements was that she bred and raced the 2001 Virginia Champion two-year-old, Chambord Liqueur. She especially enjoyed going to the track and being in the Winner’s Circle.
Louise is survived by her husband, Willard R. “Buddy” Fuller and a son, Michael S. Fuller. She is also survived by sisters, Kathleen Lovelace (George) and Donna McDonald, brothers, Franklin Huff (Justine) and David Huff (Linda), sister-in-law, Debbie Pine (Ray), and several special nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Frank Howard Huff and Helen Geneva Wood Huff of White Post, Clarke County, Virginia, as well as her sister, Helen Cooksey and her brother, Charles Huff.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
