It is with great sadness we announce that Lynn Merring passed away in Virginia Beach on June 3rd, 2022. Lynn was born on June 13, 1956 to George and Marietta Connor. Lynn was a graduate of Matawan Highschool and had multiple degrees from Mary Washington College and Indiana University. Lynn lived in Costa Mesa California with her husband Bob and worked for many years as a law librarian and manager. She was a great researcher, collaborator and leader.

Lynn was creative and loved to knit, often giving hand knitted items as gifts. She also enjoyed needlepoint, quilt making and spending time connecting with friends both in person and online. Lynn was smart, kind, thoughtful and loved animals.  Recently Lynn and her two puppies moved to Virginia Beach   to be closer to family. She had a big heart and cared deeply for her family and friends. We will miss her dearly and remember her always.

Lynn was predeceased by her parents, George and Marietta Connor and her husband Bob Merring. Left to cherish her memories are her sister (Pat Evans), nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
