Norfolk-Lynn David Keen 61 of 5139 Windermere Ave passed away on January 21, 2011.
He was born on February 12, 1949 in Kentucky. He was the son of the late Julian and Lulia Keen. He was preceded in death by his brother Emery Keen and his sister Helena Rigsby.
He had served in the USMC for 30 years and Vietnam War and was a member of VFW Post 4809 and Christ Lutheran Church.
Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 26 years Donna, three daughters: Annette Morton, Erica Mateo and Amanda Keen, his son: Wayne Keen, his brother: Edward Keen, 5 grandchildren: Haley and Jacob Mateo, Arial and Victor Morton and Michaela Walsh, several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed.
There will be a memorial service at Christ Lutheran Church at 6510 N. Military Hwy in Norfolk on Saturday January 29 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Dr. Lawrence Zimmerman will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Christ Lutheran Church. Cremation Society of Virginia is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cremate.org.
