Lynn had a lifelong career with the federal government before she retired in 2001 and moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia from Alexandria. She was married to William Leslie Hicks, the love of her life, for 46 years. She enjoyed fishing, the beach, her life-long friends, her pets, and spending time with her family. She had three girls from a previous marriage.
She is survived by her husband, her daughters, and her 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
