Macil Patsy Bell Dumont “Patty” passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family at home on Feb 25, 2021.

Patty was born on March 13, 1939 in Clarksburg WV to her parents George and Lucille Sutton.  She loved crafts, especially ceramics and porcelain dolls. She was very proud of her dolls that she worked so hard on. She was also known for her beautiful yard and flower beds. She was a performer for the Little Theater of Norfolk and worked at Russell & Holmes and Hirschlers shoe stores for many years. In 1977 she married the love of her life Ted Dumont. They remained in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake until their deaths just 5 days apart.

Patty was predeceased by her mother (Lucille), father (George) and brother and her son Michael Edward Settles. She is survived by her two sons Bobby Settles and Mark (Georgia) Settles. Granddaughter Amber (Michael) Winslow. Great grandson Colt Winslow.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions a small private ceremony will be held in her honor.
