Maggie will be missed by her NICU family. The void will be felt for days, weeks, months and yrs. She was an amazing nurse and an amazing co worker. Her beautiful smile and contagious laugh along with her witty humor, is what I will miss the most. She always lead interesting conversations with co-workers, that always left us laughing. I had the pleasure and honor to work with Maggie in the NICU. Maggie was the one who convinced me to get my first colonoscopy when I didn’t think it was necessary. She told me to just do it, and I did. She was an amazing NICU nurse and I always enjoyed our charge shifts together. Maggie always had a funny story to tell and always made me laugh! She was such an inspiration in her fight against cancer and she amazed me every time I saw her at work. Maggie will be so missed by her NICU family and she will never be forgotten. Many of us will have to be at work on Saturday and not be able to attend her service. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of her family.

I will always remember Maggie’s sense of humor, her kindness and her strength. She put 110% into the task ahead of her and motivated others to do the same. I vividly remember her going all out in our gym class badminton tournament. Despite my lack of coordination, Maggie’s skills and enthusiasm carried us all the way to the championship. Thanks to her it was the most exciting day in gym I ever had. In that same class we walked together through relationship changes, college choices and career goals. To a fellow nurse, a fellow eagle and a kind friend in a season of change, thank you for your impact in this world.
