I had the great honor of having Maggie in my Anatomy and Physiology course at MU. What an amazing spirit and force she was. Obviously, I only knew her for a very short time, and I wish I was able to make it to her memorial service at Marymount. I am so deeply saddened by the loss of Maggie. The nursing world will miss her! My heart goes out to all of her family and loved ones, and I am happy to have known her, she was a wonderful person, and she cared for so many! Her impact on the lives that she touched is immeasurable but know that she has left a beautiful mark on this world. She took time to understand my passion for turtles and the people of Belize and I am eternally grateful for having known her for sure.

Maggie will be missed by her NICU family. The void will be felt for days, weeks, months and yrs. She was an amazing nurse and an amazing co worker. Her beautiful smile and contagious laugh along with her witty humor, is what I will miss the most. She always lead interesting conversations with co-workers, that always left us laughing. Her ability to make us laugh in the most stressful moments was a gift.

A privilege to broadcast her volleyball matches against CNU, a warrior on and off the court.
I had the pleasure and honor to work with Maggie in the NICU. Maggie was the one who convinced me to get my first colonoscopy when I didn’t think it was necessary. She told me to just do it, and I did. She was an amazing NICU nurse and I always enjoyed our charge shifts together. Maggie always had a funny story to tell and always made me laugh! She was such an inspiration in her fight against cancer and she amazed me every time I saw her at work. Maggie will be so missed by her NICU family and she will never be forgotten. Many of us will have to be at work on Saturday and not be able to attend her service. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of her family.

Our deepest sympathies to Sam, Kim, Sammi, and all who loved Maggie. We knew Maggie through volleyball. She was an amazing talent, hard working, and always willing to help the younger players develop. All of the WVC girls looked up to and wanted to be like her. Praying for peace and strength for all who knew and loved Maggie!
My condolences to the family of this beautiful woman
I will always remember Maggie’s sense of humor, her kindness and her strength. She put 110% into the task ahead of her and motivated others to do the same. I vividly remember her going all out in our gym class badminton tournament. Despite my lack of coordination, Maggie’s skills and enthusiasm carried us all the way to the championship. Thanks to her it was the most exciting day in gym I ever had.
In that same class we walked together through relationship changes, college choices and career goals.
To a fellow nurse, a fellow eagle and a kind friend in a season of change, thank you for your impact in this world.
I am truly sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Maggie was a beautiful soul and will be forever remembered.

Although, I never met Maggie I grew to know her from her Mother. She always spoke very highly of her personality and spirit. We will miss you Maggie and may your spirit live on in heaven.
Maggie taught both my daughters volleyball while she babysat them and created their love for the sport. They both play for their high school now, the same one Maggie attended. My oldest is now committed to play softball for Marymount, following Maggie once again.
