Marcia Ann Worsley Brown, 62, passed away November 21, 2019 in Virginia Beach VA.  She was born May 16, 1957 in Newport News VA.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Brown; mother, Alberta Spratley Worsley Taft; her father, Warren Worsley Jr; her sisters, Francine Worsley Garner, Donna Worsley Johnson and brothers, Warren Worsley III and Abdul K. Shabazz.

Left to cherish her memories is her sister, Elder Deloris Pettaway (Apostle David Pettaway), and brother, Deacon Albert L. Worsley (Karen).  Godson Rev. Lorenzo Palmer and niece, Letitia Bates and nephew, Don Bates who she helped raise. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and her BFF, Laurie Demaris and close friend, Sharon King.

Her home church was Miracle Temple Baptist Church.  Marcia was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Hampton VA, where she was the Sunday School Secretary, a member of the Women of Unity and a Board Member of Crusading Outreach Ministry Inc. where she worked diligently until her health no longer allowed her.

She lived and taught what the word of God meant (I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.) Philippians 4:13.

Her memorial service will be December 14, 2019, 12 PM.  Park Place Baptist Church 711 Spruce Street, Hampton VA 23661.

Cremation Society of Virginia-Newport News assisted the family with arrangements.
