Margie L. Jenkins passed away peacefully in her home after a long battle with dementia on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the age of 84. She was born on February 23, 1939 in Emporia, VA. She was predeceased by her husband, Alvin Jenkins; parents, Frank and Lois Falk; daughter, Terry Fosse Yohey; and sister, Kay Janow. Margie retired after many years as a secretary with the City of Norfolk Circuit Court.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kathy Ballow and Kim Bryant; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister and caregiver, Nancy Hamburger, who will miss her dearly; loving brothers, Frank Falk and Al Falk; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to give special thanks to her caregiver, Mary Bobbitt, and Sentara Hospice.

Margie will be interred at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens located at 524 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322.
