Norfolk – Marian “Patsy” Costas, 94, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2012. “Patsy” was born to Ethel M. Pressley and Ervin F. Pressley in Asheville, NC on October 28, 1917. She was preceded in death by her husband, David George Costas, Sr.; her son, David George Costas, Jr., 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her sons, Charles “Chuck” and wife Dana, John and wife Margie; daughter-in-law, Hunter Costas; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 brother-in-laws, Eugene M. Ellison and Pete Costas, Sr. and wife Debbie; and many loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, Aug. 3, at The Talbot Park Baptist Church in Norfolk with the Rev. Leslie M. Park officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Talbot Park Baptist Church or The Alzheimer’s Association. Cremation Society of Virginia is handling the arrangements.
