She leaves many cherished memories with her daughter, Linda and husband, Toko, and her two granddaughters, Lisa and Emi, whom she lived with for four years.
She also leaves behind a son, Erich and his children; and a brother, Rudy.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Alois; and her siblings, Albert, Josef, Johann, Johanna and Pferdie.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice House of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
Altmeyer Funeral Home, Denbigh Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
