Mario A. Venditti, of Virginia Beach passed away peacefully on January 17, 2018. He was born March 17, 1932 in Syracuse, New York. Mario graduated from LeMoyne College with an accounting degree, and served in the U.S. Army. He was a Certified Public Accountant, Admitted to Practice in U.S. Tax Court, and a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals. He started two accounting firms, earning him a reputation as one of the top CPAs in the Syracuse and Hampton Roads areas. Mario was predeceased by his wife, the former Yolanda Delperuto in 2006.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Venditti (Maureen) of Needham, MA and Patrick Venditti (Suzanne Schweiss) of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Linda Tropea (John) of Virginia Beach and Kathy Pingel (Mark) of Chesapeake, VA; grandsons, Michael, Steven, Jimmy, Brandon and Kyle; and two great-grandsons, Carter and Collin.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension, followed by inurnment in Princess Anne Memorial Park.
