I was born and grew up next door to Margie and "Sis". I was a couple of years older and my sister Sylvia was her age. I remember that they had a bicycle and we did not, so she would come up to our house. Back in those days we could safely ride in the tarred public road. We all ran and played outdoors from sunrise to sunset and were perfectly safe. May she rest in peace.

A wonderful person inside and out. She always had a smile and something positive to share. She will no doubt be missed by many.

Marjorie was the magnetic inspiration for an unforgettable impromptu reunion of members of the Brunswick High School Class of 1956 in Emporia about 15 years ago. She was lovingly dubbed the Cheerleader of our class and happily wore the outfit made for her by a classmate's wife. She had an unforgettable presence in our lives and has a special spot in our hearts.
