Maxine Emily Otto, born on August 9, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, in Williamsburg, Virginia, at the age of 76.

Maxine devoted much of her life to serving others through her work at the Social Security Office. Her dedication and commitment to education were also evident in her connection to National Louis University, where she pursued higher learning and contributed to the field of education.

Maxine was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Annie and Frank Walker, as well as her siblings Bruce, Willie, Frank, Marilene, Joretha, and Jene Walker. Her memory will be cherished by her surviving sister, Pam Galloway, brother Carzhey Walker, sister Eva Troutman, and her numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory .

Maxine’s legacy of kindness and service will be remembered by all who knew her.
