Melania Ricra
Chesapeake- It is with great sadness that the family of Melania Oscco Ricra, 86, announce her passing peacefully in her sleep at home to be with her Lord on December 23, 2018. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Fausto Ricra and will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Maria Ricra and Carmen Hoffman (Gene), son Michael Ricra (Deanna) and her 2 beloved grandsons Ryan and Jarod Hoffman. Melania is also survived by her sister Josephine Oscco and brother Andres Oscco as well as many loving nieces and nephews in New Jersey and Peru. Born in Lima, Peru, Melania emigrated to the United States in 1965 and proudly became a US citizen in 1981. She was a hardworking wife and mother finally retiring at age 65 and moving from New Jersey to Chesapeake, Virginia to care for her beloved grandsons to whom she was completely devoted. Family was dear and precious to Melania and she will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
