Melissa Gale Rhodes, born March 13, 1975, passed away on December 3, 2024, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and deep love for her family.

Her greatest joy in life was her son, Joshua, who passed away in 2018. She carried his memory with her every day and found strength in the bond they shared.

Melissa worked for many years in accounts payable for several companies. She loved cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, spending time with her family, and relaxing with her beloved dogs. Her simple joys included playing bingo, playing cards, coloring, and sharing laughter with loved ones.

She is survived by her siblings, Gary Rhodes and Abbey Stanley; her niece and nephew; a brother-in-law; her aunt; and many cousins. Melissa’s warmth, humor, and kindness touched everyone who knew her, and she will be missed beyond words.

A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date, her family will share details when available.
