Michael A. Brock, age 73, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, in Newport News, Virginia. Born on February 21, 1953, in St. Joseph’s, Missouri, Michael lived a life marked by dedication to his family and his craft.

Michael spent his professional years as a skilled plumber, earning the respect of both colleagues and clients before enjoying a well-deserved retirement. In his leisure time, he found joy in woodworking, creating beautiful pieces that will be cherished by his loved ones. His passion for cooking brought warmth and delight to many family gatherings.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents. Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Brock, who stood by his side throughout their years together. He leaves behind a loving family, including his sons Chris Brock and his wife Jessica, and David Yeager; his daughters Barbara Yeager and Beth Tanner; and his sisters Nancy, and Patty Schuler and her husband Dean. Michael was also the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

Michael’s legacy is one of love, craftsmanship, and family. While there will be no services held, those who knew him will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
