Mikey had a love of music and was a talented musician in the local band scene. He worked as a plant operator for HRSD.
He is survived by his mother, Deborah Greene, and husband, Igor Myachin; father, Michael Greene, and wife Sheryl; sister, Jennifer Greenwell and husband Greg; brother, Daniel Greene and wife, Sarah Ellison; his grandparents, Victor and Barbara Pitcavage and Betty Greene ; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and his lifelong friend, David Criss. He was predeceased by his beloved grandfather, “Grandpa John”Greene.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at Spring Branch Community Church, 1500 N. Great Neck Rd, Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made for the establishment of a memorial fund for underprivileged musicians, c/o Cremation Society of Virginia, 5265 Providence Rd, Suite 104, Virginia Beach, VA 23464, ATTN: D.
