Miguel “Mike” Alfaro – Virginia Beach

Beloved father, husband, Sailor and Marine died peacefully in his sleep on January 30, 2011. He now rests in the heavens.

Always putting others first, he was a great man who always believed in his family and country.

He will be missed by many loved ones left behind. We are at peace knowing he is happy and now in the stars.

He was truly one of a kind, Being new to the area and trying to adjust to working records at a Navy medical clinic. Mike was always there for me either answering questions or a friendly ear for me to bitch to when I was frustrated with a thankless job. Mike you were truly a honorable man in a dishonorable world, Sleep well my friend you are now truly free at last, Heaven is stronger with you in it!!! Semper Fidelis my friend!!!

Mike was a wonderful person to be around. I met Mike when he worked at SLH. He was always laughing and joking and we had some very interesting converstations. He will be missed. To his family, I will keep you in my prayers in this time of sorrow. My God be with you and help to heal the pain. He is in a much better place now. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten.
