April 12, 1953 - December 6, 2019

Virginia Beach ~ Mitchell Dale Haney of Virginia Beach, VA, born April 12, 1953 in Newport News, VA, left us on December 6, 2019 to join all of the other great musicians who have gone on before him in Rock and Roll Heaven.

He is predeceased by his parents, Lowana Christine Holland Haney and Otho O’Lee Haney and his sister, Tenga Valine Haney.  Surviving are his wife Leslie Haney of Virginia Beach,  ex-wife Delores (Dee) Haney of Newport News, sons Ryan Haney (Michelle) of North Carolina, Mitch Rogers of Florida, step sons Dustin and Stephen Klutz, step daughter Hannah (Cody) Carroll of Norfolk ,Va. Granddaughters Kaylei and McKenna Haney and Harper Carroll.

Those who knew him knew his first love was music and performing. He was a great guitarist and vocalist who could sing and play anything. He will be greatly missed by his music family.

A memorial service celebrating his life and love of music will be held at a later date.  Date and Location forth coming. Please plan to join us.
