Mom, we miss you so much. We can not express our love for you in words. You always gave of your heart and never asked for anything in return. You are a source of strength and comfort to us all. You are not only our Mom, but also our best friend. -- Cathy, Teri, and Kim

I'm a life long friend of Teri Nolan Bustard & I've known the Nolan Family since the mid 70's. Monnie was like a second Mom back then. I remember all the sleep overs when they lived in Va Bch. We used to have so much fun. Monnie's sense of humor will always be with me. Her last memories of me were that I used to be a "little stinker!" I am so very thankful I got to spend time with her and say goodbye on the day before she went to Heaven. May you and your beloved husband rest with eternal peace forever. I will never forget you and what a beautiful person and wonderful Mom you were. MY bond with your delightful daughter "Teri" will never change. With all my love forever. Marlene :

Knowing Monnie since I was a mear 14 years old, I had the utmost respect. Soon I found out what a soft heart she had and what a great sense of humor. She raised a wonderful daughter, my high school sweetheart that I married and am still crazy about. Monnie came to live with us around 6 years ago and enriched our lives. She was loved by so many of our kid's friends. We love you and miss you already. No doubt that God picks the best first. We will see you, with God, in Paradise.

Dear Cathy & Family, I am sorry for your loss. Your mother, Monnie, fought long and hard, and you were there to take care of her along the way. It sounds like she was a wonderful mother, and you certainly were a wonderful daughter to her. She is able to be with your dad now, and suffer no longer. May you have peace in your heart knowing that you were able to be with her, and help her in her most critical time in life but, according to you, she didn't complain, she just kept on living her life. Bless you all.

I just read about Monnie today. I'd been thinking about her for a while and did an internet search hoping to find her enrolled in Facebook. She was a wonderful lady and a very dear friend to my mother, Bertie. I know they are in Heaven enjoying all of It's blessings together as they used to enjoy fishing off of the docks in Eden Isles together. Please accept my deepest sympathy and know that Monnie will always hold a special place in our hearts. With love, Sheila.
