Nancy Louise Schnitzius Cole was born December 9, 1944 in Dallas, Texas. She passed away on January 10, 2023 at age 78  in Saluda, Virginia from vascular dementia. Nancy was a lover of the ocean and the culinary arts. She enjoyed trips to the beach for the holidays and enjoyed watching cooking shows or reading Southern Living. She is preceded in death by her husband of forty-five years, James Cole; her father, George Schnitzius; her mother Helen Schnitzius and her brother, Steve Schnitzius. She is survived by her daughters; Sherri Yewitt, and Emily Steele (Kory), her grandsons: Elijah Steele and Jalen Yewitt; her siblings and their spouses: Elaine Shumate (Buzz), Judy Brockmeyer (Bob), Dan Schnitzius (Charlene), and Greg Schnitzius (Rhonda); and her sister-in-law Patricia Roberts (Courtney). No funeral or memorial services are planned.
