Nathan Lee West was born June 21,1982 in Norfolk, VA. Bound for glory, he was called home by the Lord on December 11,2024 after bravely battling an aggressive form of skin cancer. He is survived by his wife and forever love, Mary Anna West, his four beautiful children, Layla Evelyn, Nathan Walker, Colton Ryder and Marlee Grace West; his loving parents, Danny Warren and Kimberly Horton West; and his brother, Kelly Ryan West all living in Virginia Beach, VA. He was also survived by his mother and father-in-law, Katarina and Timothy Walker of Sewanee, Tennessee.
Nathan was and will always be remembered as a family man and a loyal friend. His life’s greatest pleasure was spending his time and sharing his love, making memories with family and friends. His proudest accomplishments in this life are his children he lovingly shared with Mary Anna, his wife and best friend. He was fun, hardworking, loyal, creative, and an epic storyteller with a sense of humor for days.
Nathan was happiest when doing things with his family and playing his guitar. Those who knew Nathan will remember him for his infectious smile. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
The Celebration of Life service for Nathan Lee West will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary of Great Bridge United Methodist Church 201 Stadium Dr. Chesapeake VA, 23322.
Family and Friends are welcome to gather in the church social hall immediately following the service. Afterwards, Red Bones Raw Bar and Seafood Grille will be hosting a gathering to celebrate the life of Nate West at 4:00pm, 445 Battlefield Blvd N. Chesapeake, VA 23320.
