Dean, Katy and I were in Italy at the same time. Her sons and my oldest daughter are still in contact, I think through a LAHS or Camp Darby group. I respected her and considered her a quiet professional in all she did. I last saw her in Korea about the time you two married. I wish I could have met you then. I know you will be missing this great lady for a long time, but thank the Lord for the years you had together. Please accept my condolences to you and pass them on to her sons and other family members.

I knew Katy in Camp Darby, Italy. We were involved in the Music & Theatre program there. I thought she was a wonderfully admirable person, particularly as a single Mom of 3 sons. You did a great job at everything, Katy. May your spirit dance among the stars. Heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
