Niles “Chip” Drexler Jr., 63, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away at home on Friday, January 12, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on March 6, 1960, to Niles “Skip” and Linda Drexler, in Yokosuka, Japan. Chip was the eldest of five children.
He dedicated over 40 years to the commercial HVAC industry, earning respect for his expertise in the field. In his leisure time, Chip found joy in travel, cooking, and selflessly giving back through volunteering at Coastal Serve.
Chip was predeceased in death by his father Niles “Skip” Drexler Sr. and is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Logene Drexler, and their daughters Nichole (Seth) and Holly (Tracy). He leaves behind cherished grandchildren, Aiden and Willow, who brought immense joy to his life.
He is also survived by his mother Linda Drexler and siblings: Debra (Keith), Mark, Kenny (Angela), and Angie (Lewis). As well as his in-laws Betty (Matt) and Ray (Janice), and a host of relatives and friends.
The family expresses sincere gratitude to Linda Browning for her unwavering care and support during Chip’s time of illness.
A celebration of life will be held at Woodland Heights Baptist Church in Chesapeake, VA on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Coastal Serve (coastalserve.org) or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org) are appreciated. Condolences may be shared at vacremationsociety.com.
