Beyond compare, the BEST hard-working and loving mother, inspirational guide, friend to the lost and forgotten, optimistic comrade, wise sage, fun-loving adventure-seeker, trail-blazing, nature/music/literature/art loving, always there to save the day, dancing to her own vibration and tempo will be remembered in every sunrise and sunset; dawn and dusk are meditations on her infinite compassion, pure selflessness and immense loving spirit.

As I begin to write precious memories come to mind. I recall Pat being the protector of the creatures. She would talk to them and they would look at her as though they understood her. Her daily ritual was to come to my office and just swing from the overhead rail above my door. She was a vibrant, knowledgeable, caring woman truly loved by anyone who came in contact with her. My friend of any form of music, I will miss and cherish all you have taught me. Through our friendship, my visions of the beauty and possibilities of loving life has grew.

to the Godwin family, especially Mr. & Mrs. Godwin. We met your daughter back in '74 and '75 when we got jobs at the Norfolk naval Shipyard. We all became friends including the "late" tony Harrell. Tony and Patty dated, Clayton and I married. Tony and Clayton stayed at the shipyard, Patty and i went to work at the Naval hospital. We all did well and kept in touch. We didn't see each other as much when Clayton and i left the government and started our own business. Clayton and i became so sad when we learned that Patty has passed away. She leaves good memories in our hearts. you and your family have our deepest sympathy and our prayers.

I worked with Pat years ago in Norfolk. I too fondly remember her saying "Good Morning" whenever she greeted you and always speaking so lovingly of Leah, Keshia and "Pump". Her zest for life was inspirational! May God bless and comfort each of you.
