Patricia Anne Byrne– Norfolk  Patty Anne

Patty Anne, daughter of the Lcdr-Ret/Capt. Joseph L. and Iris L. Byrne of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away March 22, 2017. Born November 7, 1954 on the Island of Bermuda, she was a 1973 Maury High School graduate, and also a graduate of the Botanical Gardens Horticulture School in Norfolk. During the 1980’s and 1990’s, Patty Anne held the position as Restaurant Manager for The Recovery Room and The Operating Room in downtown Norfolk, in a “Cheers sort of Atmosphere”, after which she was the Manager of the Restaurant on the Concourse of Norfolk International Airport. During all of these years she met most of her lifelong friendships, in addition to her friendships made while attending Stuart, Blair and Maury.

Patty Anne is survived by her mother, Iris, and sister, Kathy, sister in law, Peggy, her nieces, Kelley, Kathleen and Jackie, and nephews, Chuckie and Tony.

Patty Anne was predeceased by her father, Joseph and brothers, Chuck, Rick and Michael, and her nephew, Mark., brother in law, Carroll and sister in law, Lisa.

The family would like to thank Envoy of Williamsburg and Sentara Hospice for all of their kindness and compassion during this time.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
