Paul David Eisenhauer, 78, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 26, 2017.
Born on March 25, 1939 in Hanson, KY to Jack and Thelma Eisenhauer, Paul joined the United States Navy in 1956 and in 1974, retired as a Chief Petty Officer. Following his military career, Paul joined the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and was employed with them for 15 years. He loved to watch his many-many movies and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 33 years, Patricia; two daughters, Donna Susan Mitchell and Dana Lynn Bushue; two step-sons, Frank and Greg Price; two grandsons, Roger and Paulie; a granddaughter, Ciera; his brother, Fred Roland Eisenhauer; brother-in-law, Billie Dare Price and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
“I have no regrets, it has been a wonderful life full of wonderful friends, family and strangers. I will be in a better place and will greet those that eventually follow me. No funeral please, I wish to be cremated and ashes deposited into the ocean. I love you all and God Bless You!” Paul (Ike), Chief, US Navy.
