He served 30 years in the US Navy, retired as Master Chief. He loved to play golf and watch Diamond Back. Survived by wife, two daughters, one granddaughter, 3 grandsons, and one great grand daughter. Also survived by two sister’s, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Military Honors service will be held at 11:00am Friday August 19, 2011, at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milner Road, Suffolk, VA.
Service & reception will be held 1:00pm after Military service at South Quay Baptist Church 9617 South Quay Road, Suffolk, VA 23437. Family and friends welcome. Please send flowers to the church.
