I was Paul's neighbor in the early 1990s and again in the early 2000s. We had many talks about the Lord and sports. He was one of the most positive people I know. His recall was amazing: I mentioned a Redskins-Falcons game which had happened 25 years ago - in 1978! - and he gave me details! I also played a lot of basketball and softball with Paul - he made some incredible shots wearing glasses! And of course, we went to church together. He was a godly man - I never heard him curse once! We both knew the power of God's forgiveness and I am sorry to learn of his passing. But I know he is in the hands of the Lord. Rest in peace, Paul. ❤

I was saddened to learn of Mike’s passing. We grew up together with many good friends in a day and time where kids just left the home to find their friends and play. Not so many organized events as just times where kids had to figure out for themselves what they would be doing that day. Football games in the lot next to our church. Basketball games in Mike’s driveway. Baseball games at our local Woodstock Elementary School. And summer evenings just hanging out wondering what we would become some day. Always friendly, and one who seemed to get along with everyone, Mike was a solid friend. Ours paths took different routes and I lost touch with Mike. Seeing this notice of his passing brings me many fond memories, along with my prayer that Mike is in a better place today. Condolences to Mike’s family.

I’m so sorry to hear about Mikes passing ..... my earliest childhood memories include Mike and Ted and always will. They were my next door neighbors growing up in Westview. We reconnected about a year or two ago on Facebook and it was great! Mike confided in me about his diagnosis and I had hoped to help more and now .......I know he is resting in heaven..... I feel blessed that I was able to reconnect with him 50? Years later ...... my thoughts and prayers go out to his family ......... RIP Mike
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Mike & I were childhood friends growing up in the Westview Homes neighborhood. We had many good times together along with so many other neighborhood friends. We waited at the bus stop together many mornings. Years later, I reconnected with Mike & we were always glad to catch up with each other. Mike was always a happy, cheery person with a good outlook on life. I'm sorry to hear of your passing & I'll miss you, my friend!
