The longtime resident of Deep Creek in Chesapeake was predeceased by her parents, Grace and Henry Petree, and her husband, Harold Curry.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Velda and Avis; her son, Troy; nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren; her beloved cat, Max; and her best friend, Dottie.
A private graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 12 at 10AM at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, 4569 Shoulders Hill Road, Suffolk, Va. 23435. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Poquoson Animal Welfare Sanctuary, P.O. Box 2204, Poquoson, Va. 23662.
