Pauline S. (Marion) Olivier, 95, died peacefully at home on January 27, 2024. She was born February 12, 1928, in St. Damien de Brandon, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Albertina Marion.
Pauline enjoyed her retirement years spending time with her family, traveling, cooking/baking, and gardening. She loved to read, especially books about US historical figures and events. She was very skilled at crocheting, embroidery and knitting – making beautiful heirlooms for her family. Her grandchildren would say she was a very competitive card player, and she was a master jigsaw “puzzler”, often working on a new puzzle for hours at a time.
She is survived by her children: Brigitte Olivier of Ayer MA, Guy Olivier of New Brunswick, Canada, Andre Olivier of Cheyenne, WY, Sylvie Luther of Natrona Heights, PA, Suzanne Fox and her husband Harold of Georgetown, SC, Claire Olivier of Boyce, VA, Francine Wilson and her husband, Nate of Port Richey, FL, Jacqueline Rusnak and her husband Thomas of Virginia Beach, VA and Louise Bencivengo of Prince George, VA. Also, 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral Mass, burial and celebration of life will be in Canada in the spring.
