Phyllis Riccio Hoffman
Virginia Beach – Phyllis Riccio Hoffman passed away on April 30, 2016 at Westminster Canterbury Hoy Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Phyllis was born in Jamaica, New York to the late Joseph and Vera Riccio. She taught elementary and middle school 30 years for the Norfolk Public City School System, and also pursued her passion for the residential real estate business since 1981.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted sister, Joan Theresa Libbon and late husband Joseph John Libbon; her loving daughters Barbara Ann Kersey and husband Tom, Karen Ann Goodall and husband Greg; nephew Joseph Kenneth Libbon and Sylvia Rambin; her beloved grandchildren John David Kersey and Gabrielle Nicole Goodall.
Her favorite pastimes included being with family and friends, spoiling her grandchildren, and her devotion as an avid New York Yankees fan. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Gregory Warth, the staff and hospice care at The Hoy Center, and the staff at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.
In loving memory of Phyllis Riccio Hoffman, a Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday May 7, 2016 in St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Virginia Beach, Va.
