He was predeceased by his parents, Melvin and Thelma Murphy; a nephew, Anthony C. Kindle; three sisters-in-law: Billie Murphy, Nellie Hicks, and Emma; and four brothers-in-law: Johnny Beasley, Tommy Chauncey, Roy Hall, and Glen “Buddy” Crabtree.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rhonda Murphy; his son, Michael R. Murphy; a grandson, Myke Murphy; two granddaughters, Brianna Murphy and Daisy Mando; a brother, Frank Murphy; two sisters, Betty Murphy Crabtree and Kathleen Murphy Chauncey; three brothers-in-law: Jerry Midgett (Debbie), Joseph Midgett, and Ricky Lynch; sisters-in-law, Shelia Midgett and Lillian “Lilly” Midgett; nephew, Robert E. Kindle III; as well as many more nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of Raymond’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at his sister Kathleen’s home.
