Remedios Cabauatan – Virginia Beach
Remedios Cabauatan, 77, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 23, 2010. Remy was born on February 6, 1933 in the city of Los Banos, Philippines. With her determination and her sister’s help, her dream came true to come to America. In 1994, Remy proudly became a citizen of the United States. Remy loved being with and caring for her family, watching movies, creating, and traveling. Her other great passion was sewing with perfection. Remy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Portia and David Dinger; grandson and his wife, Ty and Jennifer Davis; great-granddaughter, Temperance Davis; as well as her devoted and loving sisters, their spouses and children: Gloria and Conrad Mendoza and their daughters Karen, Darren and Christie; sister, Ester and Ronnie Velasco and their children Mitchell and Belen; and brother, Toni and Loring Cabauatan. Her loving family extends to many siblings, cousins, nephews and nieces in the United States and the Philippines. A Resurrection Memorial Service will be held at the Church of Ascension in Virginia Beach, Virginia on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 1:00 pm.
