MSG RET Richard A Miller, 57, of 2509 Millhaven Ct., passed away peacefully at his home, Jan. 13, 2011, after a short battle with cancer.
He proudly served his country in the US Army for 21 years as an enlisted aide to the Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. Vuono and Gen. Sullivan. After retiring, he worked for Congressman Sisisky.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Connie; daughters Mary Lynn and Christa; sisters Debbie Richard & Donna; brothers Danny Rose, Keith & Mark Kim; nieces, nephews, and many devoted friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Jack & Kay and his beloved son Trent.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 20th at 11 a.m. at Dam Neck Annex Chapel By the Sea, followed by a celebration of his life from 1-3 p.m. at the VFW Post 392 in Va. Beach.
