Richard Lee Powell, 75, passed away on October 26, 2022. He was predeceased in death by his parents Edgar A. and Margaret Barr Powell and half sister Joan Elliott.

Richard was a high school graduate of Granby High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He will be remembered for his love of fishing. Richard was a Deacon of Talbot Park Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 20 years, Constance Cromwell Powell; brother, Michale A. Powell and wife Valerie; stepdaughters, Elizabeth Williams and husband Garry, Renee’ Hood ; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday November 12, 2022 at Talbot Park Baptist Church 6919 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505.
