We are so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. He was an incredible man who always had a smile, handshake, and positive attitude about life. I remember when he first joined St. Michael. He would come to the church office and we would chat about his wife, his sadness over her passing, and how he loved it at St. Michael. We miss you, Richard. Praise God for bringing you into the life of the congregation at St. Michael.

We are so sorry for Richard's passing. We enjoyed him as a neighbor for many years in Alanton and have wonderful memories. He was always kind and funny. We enjoyed being invited to the dinner clubs hosted by him and Dot. He was always positive and all the memories of his stories and jokes make us smile. Thinking of Sharon and family, and you are in our thoughts and prayers. Bennie and Jane Etheridge, Greg and April Etheridge, and Tracey Etheridge Chestnut

I was so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. I always enjoyed hearing about his many travels from Sharon. There were always interesting stories to tell. She and her Dad certainly shared a love of travel. My thoughts and prayers are with Sharon and the rest of the family. God Bless. Fondly, Norma Stone

Dr Richard and Linda Huey left a message on October 1, 2023:
It is with great sadness that we have lost our great friend and pew partner at church. Richard was always sooo friendly and accepting of others. He always had a smile on his face, a positive comment that was funny, and an acceptance beyond words. After we quit going to church services because of the pandemic, we kept in contact with Richard via telephone. Heaven had definitely received a wonderful angel with Richard. He and his family are in our prayers and thoughts. Good bye, friend, until we are reunited again.
