Dear Andy,
We are so sorry to hear about your brother. He, and all of your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. I noticed that he was born on the feast day of St. Thomas Acquinas, was once said, " Love takes up where knowledge leads off." So, while it might be difficult to understand why your Robert is no longer alive, memories of him can be savored, and treasured in your heart. And prayers can be said to comfort him, since God works both in and outside of time.

To Roberts family,
My heart is sad for each of you. I have been praying for all of you. Mariah and Zach you may not remember me, but I have not forgotten you or your sweet daddy. Robert was special, I know he loved you, and his family was special to him. I do not have answers for why this special man left us so young. What I do know is Gods protection is over you and Gods love never fails. Deuteronomy 31:8 tells us that The Lord himself goes before you and He will be with you; He God, will never leave you not forsake you. Do not be afraid. I pray you will all Lean on God for comfort, God knows what is happening in your lives and he is faithful to those who call on Him. He is ever-present and a protector in times of need.
2 Corinthians tells us He is the Father of compassion and the God of comfort.
Psalm 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. I pray you will all find comfort and Peace in our Lord Jesus. Robert I know will be missed by all who were blessed to know him and I am blessed to have had that pleasure.
