Virginia Beach- Robert L. Bartlett, Jr. passed away peacefully on December 16, 2017, with his wife by his side. Born on September 29, 1931, in Baltimore, MD to Rev. Robert L. Bartlett, Sr and Elizabeth Gibson. Singing was Bob’s passion and he starred in many productions in both the Baltimore and Tidewater areas. Bob was preceded in death by his son, Robert, his parents, and sister, Lisle. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Barbara; two children, Cheri and Robin, daughter in law, Kathy; stepdaughters, Lauren and Sharon, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bob was a devout Christian and a true Methodist and we take comfort in knowing that he has gone to the Lord. Many thanks to Sentara Hospice, home health aides, and Bob’s stepdaughters for their loving care during Bob’s illness. A private service is being planned.
