Robert Lee Marshall, 92, peacefully passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 in Virginia Beach, Virginia surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born December 10, 1931 to James and Elizabeth Marshall in Norfolk, Virginia. He attended Maury High School in Norfolk and served in the United States Air Force. He retired as a division supervisor for the 616 Group at the Norfolk Naval Air Rework Facility (NARF) after 35 years of service.  Additionally, he coached youth baseball, flag football and soccer teams in the Great Neck area of Virginia Beach. He enjoyed fishing and boating on the Chesapeake Bay.

He is predeceased by his parents, sister Elizabeth Lindsay and brother James H. Marshall, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Phyllis Shipley Marshall, three sons: Robert Lyle (Evelyn), Richardson Lee and James Preston and grandson Brian Patrick.
